Building A Company Through EngagementWhen we started our Weave adventure we had corporate events squarely in our sights. We knew that other opportunities existed but wanted to stay focused and develop the markets that we thought were ready now.

After a year of work, we have been able to develop those alternative opportunities and found that Weaves have been consistently effective in a wider variety of contexts then we ever imagined. We have been able to adapt quickly to customer feedback due to the way that the platform has been built – flexibility has been our friend.

More recently, we have been working closely with a number of fortune 500 companies. The experience has taught us a huge amount and we have benefited by working with and learning form some of the best people in the industry. There are a lot of leaders out there who care about what happens within their company. They want employees to unleash their potential so that everyone benefits.

Engaged employees grow companies faster, are retained for longer and are better value to the organization and the people they interact with. They are brand ambassadors who attract new business and more talent to the organization. Some people will jump through burning hoops to work for a company like Apple or Harley Davidson because they love the products. Works doesn’t feel like work if you do what you love.

Having a cool product helps engage and motivate but it is not the only way get everyone pulling in the same direction. We are students of internal communications, employee engagement and talent management within large organizations, our goal is to know the space and techniques so that we can fit our service around the needs of our customers.

Each Weave we build in the space allows us to see what programs companies are implementing and the varied approaches that fit with their brand and culture. Luckily for us we have very engaged partners and customers who provide us with the feedback to learn and evolve with them. We are very grateful to those that are helping us to succeed.

We plan to keep learning form our customers and build our product range to fit around the needs that are present now and in the near future. Flexibility will continue to be our product mantra allowing us to add features, build views and solve problems quickly. Next year Weaves will be moving where ever they are needed most, be it on mobile devises, touch screens or large projected displays. As ever there are more ideas then resources so we rely on our partners to help us prioritize.
