Our Product Launch

Our Product LaunchFirst off, I want to say thank you to Paul Caswell for bringing me on board to launch Weave The People, a web-based tool for launching people’s potential.

As you may know, Paul is a technology inventor born in Manchester, England, who now calls Chicago home. Paul founded Weave Technology LLC just a year ago and launched his first product, Weave The People, October 6.

I am proud to say the press release, which we posted on PR Web, resulted in about 300 visits to his site in just 3.5 days–about 1/5 all visits in the last four months!

The bit.ly version of the PR Web press release has likewise garnered more than 350 click-throughs. bit.ly/weavelaunch.  To keep the news spreading, we’d really appreciate it if you would tweet the following message:  Unleash Your Potential with Weave The People http://bit.ly/weavelaunch

Form Concept to Reality

One of the most rewarding aspects of doing PR and marketing for a start-up is the chance to move from concept to reality. In a tech-heavy era, Paul is passionate about face-to-face communication to drive business performance and social change. He is inspired by some truly great thinkers, including Peter Senge at MIT and Bill Isaacs, author of Dialogue and The Art of Thinking Together.  For me, conversations with Paul were a crash course on Internet-era history and collective intelligence.

After hours of discussion about Paul’s mission, we hit the keyboard. In addition to the press release, we wrote his bio and pitches to reporters and bloggers.  We also captured other useful info in the form of case studies and a FAQ.

Our PR and marketing efforts are generating the interest of prospective clients, journalists, and bloggers. The DePaul University Coleman Center for Entrepreneurship picked up the news as did The May Report.  Other stories are pending.

To keep the momentum going, Paul is speaking on October 22 at Ignite Chicago and I’ll be discussing the launch of Weave The People during a presentation to an integrated marketing class at DePaul on October 28.

We would be remiss if we didn’t thank Lennie Rose, CEO of the Big Ooga—a client of Paul’s and one of my mentors.  We celebrated the launch of Weave The People at the October 6 Big Ooga networking event—nothing short of inspiring. And the cake was awesome!

Thank you for visiting www.weavethepeople.com and never forget: To unleash your potential today.

Cheers, Sally O’Dowd
